Delete your account
You can delete your Wortken account and everything stored with it, at any time.
In the app
- Open Wortken and go to the Rhythm tab.
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
Deletion happens right away and can’t be undone.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, email hello@wortken.app from the address you signed in with, and say whether you used Google or Apple. We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: the Google or Apple user ID, email and name.
- Your public profile, @username, invite code, friends, blocks, challenges and reports you made.
- Daily activity counts, the list of words you were given, and the settings backup.
- Push notification tokens. Sign in with Apple access is revoked.
- Deleting in the app also removes your words and sentences from that phone.
What may remain
- Reports other people made about your profile are kept for safety review. They hold only the reason, plus the username and name the profile showed.
- Cached word cards and lookups are shared dictionary data and aren’t linked to you.
